Christina Eubanks-Turner, Ph.D.

Founder | Chief Mathematics Officer

Dr. Christina Eubanks-Turner brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Math Your Mind Institute, making it a groundbreaking initiative in mathematics education. Christina Eubanks, a distinguished mathematician with over 15 years in higher education, has made significant contributions to the field. As one of the first African-Americans to graduate with a degree in mathematics from the University of Nebraska and the first African-American professor at Loyola Marymount University's Seaver College of Science and Engineering, her pioneering achievements are notable.


With over 20 publications on mathematics education and extensive consulting experience, Christina has utilized Math Your Mind principles to help various school districts. Her success in securing multi-million dollar grants from prestigious organizations like the NSF and Howard Hughes Medical Institute further underscores her impact. Christina's dedication to teaching is evident in her joy of seeing students' "lightbulb" moments, demonstrating her commitment to empowering students through innovative approaches.

Earl Turner III, Ed.D.

Chief Education Officer | Principal Consultant

Dr. Earl Turner III is a seasoned leader with over 12 years of experience in education, non-profit, and private sectors. He led research for the PearPractice edtech product. He has secured millions of dollars in grant funding and created impactful workshops to support teachers integrating technology. Dr. Turner spent five years as a middle and high school mathematics teacher, where he implemented innovative instructional programs.


He also served as a Policy Advisor at LAUSD, where he made recommendations for the district's 2016-2019 Strategic Plan, analyzed expenditures for the district's $7.6 billion budget, and drafted a report on factors affecting student achievement in mathematics. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Art in Digital Learning from Loyola Marymount University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
