Innovation in Action: Kitchener Teen Resolves 35-Year-Old Engineering Challenge

This month, a student from Kitchener, Ontario, demonstrated exactly that, securing a major innovation award at the Canada-Wide Science Fair by resolving a technical challenge that had persisted for 35 years.

According to reports from CBC, the student’s project impressed judges not just for its ingenuity, but for its rigorous approach to a problem that had stumped researchers for over three decades.
