Dr. Eubanks-Turner is the Founder and Chief Mathematics Officer of Apple Pi Education, where she leads curriculum, research, and educator development across the firm. She serves as Professor of Mathematics at Loyola Marymount University, where she also directs the Secondary Teacher Preparation Program in Mathematics and the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Mathematics graduate program. Her research spans commutative algebra, graph theory, and mathematics education, and she has authored more than twenty peer-reviewed publications along with work that brings rigorous mathematics to a broader audience. She was among the first African-Americans to earn a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Nebraska, and is the first African-American professor at Loyola Marymount's Seaver College of Science and Engineering.

As Co-Founder and CEO of ApplePi Education, Dr. Turner co-leads the mission of unlocking every student’s potential. He has advanced equity research at GoGuardian, consulted on professional learning at PowerMyLearning, and co-founded the Pathway Community Foundation, host of the HBCU Smart Cities Challenge. A 2015 Education Pioneers Fellow, he worked across the Los Angeles education-policy landscape — serving as a policy analyst in the office of the LAUSD School Board President, where he shaped the Superintendent’s 2016–2019 Strategic Plan and authored research on student achievement in mathematics, and sitting on boards and strategy teams including TEACH Public Schools and Leadership for Educational Equity. That work builds on an earlier career as an entrepreneur.
